Last week’s number of active players in the all time top ten players list increased by 1 to half the players, with some new entrants from Benin. mrjohnson the Oga Ot’a of Nigeria 🇳🇬, ayoboss 🇧🇯, bobstar 🇧🇯, prof23 from Ghana 🇬🇭. The Oga Ot’a of Nigeria 🇳🇬 mrjohnson remains in the lead, with a slightly decreased 2297 points, suffering several draws and a single game loss due to a network disruption.
The threshold for entry into the active top ten increased, with bsd4100g making it in the list with 1839. Making the occupants of these two lists from the orange (1800 - 2099) & red zones (2100 +) only. Well done to the players who managed to make it into this list. 👏👏👏.
The giant of Afrika, Nigeria 🇳🇬 continues to dominate the top ten ranking lists, with the same number of players, 3 & 2 respectively in the all time & active lists: mrjohnson, akinking & aiyedunseun. Ghana 🇬🇭also continues to make their presence felt, with 2 & 4 players in both lists respectively with: akrugu, prof23 , ayirungo, lordcity & roberisco.
Benin 🇧🇯 after making a concerted effort to recruit some of its top players to the platform has established itself permanently in the top ten lists. Benin 🇧🇯 is now represented by 3 & 2 players respectively in both lists: ayoboss leprophete & bobstar in the all time list & active top ten list respectively. To complete the list grandmastert from Antigua & Barbuda 🇦🇬 maintained his place in the active top ten list. Remaining the only known player from outside Afrika in the active list.
Well done to all the players on the playok platform who battled in the ashanti room last week and making it as vibrant as it is. Congratulations to those players among the many who prevailed to make it into either top ten lists this week, especially the active list 👏👏👏.
