After the 9th edition of this seasonโs Nations Online Oware League, 54 players representing 16 national teams have participated. The teams with the most players still remains Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ (12), followed by Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ (10), and Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ (7), these three still hold the top three positions. Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ has stretched its lead to 219.0 points, 77 points ahead of Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ in 2nd place, with 142.0 points.
Well done to Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ, Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ & Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ for fielding the largest contingent of players overall and maintaining their top 3 places respectively. Kazakhstan ๐ฐ๐ฟ with just 2 players it is at Ugandaโs heals. Letโs see if they can get more players to make a difference. We still await for Benin ๐ง๐ฏ, Colombia ๐จ๐ด, Czech Republic, Togo ๐น๐ฌ and other national teams to field additional players to bolster their teams. With 43 tournaments remaining itโs early days and there everything to play for.
National teams from Afrika, America & Asia (Europe) were all represented. With just 9 tournaments into the new season, we have surpassed the halfway mark and require 10 additional nations to participate to surpass last seasonโs total of 25 nations.
These 10 nations fielded teams for the inaugural season: France ๐ซ๐ท, Austria ๐ฆ๐น, Cape Verde ๐จ๐ป, Poland ๐ต๐ฑ, Spain ๐ช๐ธ, Ivory Coast ๐จ๐ฎ, Antigua & Barbuda ๐ฆ๐ฌ, Costa Rica ๐จ๐ท, Barbados ๐ง๐ง & Italy ๐ฎ๐น. Letโs encourage them to field players once more to represent their countries.
