After the 13th edition of this seasonโs Nations Online Oware League, 60 players representing 18 national teams have participated so far. The teams with the most players remains Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ (13), followed by Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ (10), and Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ (10). These three national teams still hold the top three positions in the league. Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ has stretched its lead to 321.0 points, a reduced 111.5 points ahead of Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ in 2nd place, with 209.5 points.
Well done to Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ for maintaining its lead. Once again this league is turning outย to be a measure of how organised a countries players are in getting their fellow players to participate in the tournaments. Activist players in each country may want to appoint a team leader. One of theirย responsibilities will be to get players from their country to participate in the tournaments. With 39 tournaments remaining there is still time for organised teams to climb up the ranks.
Once again national teams from Afrika, America & Asia (Europe) were all represented. 13 tournaments into the new season, we have surpassed the halfway mark and require 8 additional nations to participate to surpass last seasonโs total of 25 nations. Letโs double our efforts to get players from other nations to participate in this league.
These 8 nations fielded teams for the inaugural season: France ๐ซ๐ท, Austria ๐ฆ๐น, Cape Verde ๐จ๐ป, Spain ๐ช๐ธ, Antigua & Barbuda ๐ฆ๐ฌ, Costa Rica ๐จ๐ท, Barbados ๐ง๐ง & Italy ๐ฎ๐น. Letโs encourage them to field players once more to represent their countries in this seasonโs league.
