Last weekโs edition of the practice tournament (nations league) had 11 countries represented. 21 players from Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ, 12 players each from Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ & Colombia ๐จ๐ด & 8 from Kazakhstan ๐ฐ๐ฟ. 6 each from Benin ๐ง๐ฏ, Kyrgyzstan ๐ฐ๐ฌ, & Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ. 4 from France ๐ซ๐ท & the UK ๐ฌ๐ง, 3 each from China ๐จ๐ณ, the Czech Republic ๐จ๐ฟ & Poland ๐ต๐ฑ, 2 each from Austria ๐ฆ๐น & Spain ๐ช๐ธ. 1 each from Antigua & Barbuda ๐ฆ๐ฌ, Barbados ๐ง๐ง, Belarus ๐ง๐พ, Cape Verde ๐จ๐ป, Costa Rica ๐จ๐ท, Germany ๐ฉ๐ช, Italy ๐ฎ๐น, Ivory Coast ๐จ๐ฎ, Russia ๐ท๐บ, Togo ๐น๐ฌ and 4 from unknown & countries.
This week positions more or less stayed the same, with the exception of Benin ๐ง๐ฏ overtaking Belarus into 7th position. The ranking list of the countries in terms of points for this tournament stands at: 1st Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ (9.0) & Benin ๐ง๐ฏ (9.0), 2nd Kazakhstan ๐ฐ๐ฟ (8), 3rd Colombia ๐จ๐ด (7.5), 4th Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ (7), 5th Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ (6.0), 6th UK ๐ฌ๐ง (4.0) & Kyrgyzstan ๐ฐ๐ฌ (4.0), 7th Germany ๐ฉ๐ช (3.0) & France ๐ซ๐ท (3.0) and 8th Czech Republic ๐จ๐ฟ (2.5)
With 5 editions to go, team Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ continues to pull ahead with a slightly increased 399.5 points against lead contender Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ. Team Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ continues to consolidate its lead, making sure their numbers compensate for the lack of top positions & thus points.
We implore all members to take part in these practice tournaments. Donโt just wait for a championship to come around to familiarise yourself with the sign up process. For as has been shown, doing so once is not enough to guarantee you will be able to sign up on the day of a championship.
